Street Soccer

18/9/2015

During Term 3 the grade 5/6’s have been playing a “Street Soccer” competition during lunch times and recesses. This competition has been an excellent way for our students and teachers to build positive relationships through the game of soccer.  The senior students have developed leadership, team work, physical education, social and mathematic skills through the competition.   The students umpire, score and run the competition with teacher guidance and assistance. The program has been running for 6 weeks.

“It makes people concentrate and do their work and when they do their work they are rewarded by playing street soccer.” Adam 5/6BL

“It’s a fun, fair and safe game to play at lunch. I like the ladders and how the goals are set up.”  Hassan 5/6R
