Feedback during remote learning

24/8/2020

The Wabisabizen App has provided the perfect opportunity to provide feedback about learning to families at a very individual level for each student. Not only that, all students have the benefit of learning from each other by exploring and discussing other Learners Work.
While studying Graeme Base's beautiful book, 'The Waterhole', we supported students to take advantage of the many counting opportunities on each page. Students were asked to find the hidden animals and count them. The extension was to count the number of legs they see too.
My questioning showed that the student was a bit confused and couldn't really explain. So we gave all students a bit more scaffolding with an example.
Just look at this outstanding result!
