On Friday the 18th of May, Lalor Primary School celebrated the National Day of Action Against Bullying. In the morning the 5/6 students worked with the preps to discuss bullying and how to be resilient. After the discussion circles students created paper chain people to celebrate friendship and harmony. We finished up in the hall with a whole school concert sharing the different activities completed across the school.
On Wednesday, Hands on Science visited Lalor P.S to teach the 5/6 students about natural disasters. The students did numerous experiments making cyclones, observing the earth’s atmosphere, discovering how tectonic plates collide and watching a model volcano explode. It was an exciting day and all students learnt a lot and received a certificate.
